Airways Aviation, the global pilot training academy with schools and flying bases around the world, has proudly announced the latest graduation of students from its Aviation Foundation Course in Dubai.

The 8 week course is a proven introductory pathway to a career in aviation, and from the group who commenced studies in April, four will go on to full flight training at Airways Aviation Pilot Training Academies in the UK and Australia.

Captain Ahmed, head of foundation course training at Airways Aviation in Dubai, congratulated the new graduates saying, ‘It has been an honour to teach you. You can be proud of your hard work and the knowledge you have gained; what you now know about aircraft, aviation rules and regulations, and engineering, will help you to begin your pilot training with the utmost confidence in your abilities and career options.’

Graduate Ramiz Abdulla Safi said of the course, ‘Now that I have finished the course I can say I learned more than I thought I would. I know what an aircraft is all about, the engines, how it moves, how it takes off. I have my deepest gratitude to Captain Ahmed Refay and Pilot Rizwan Taj for their guidance.’ Mr Safi, along with two other classmates, Mahmoud Maghayreh and Ahmed Hassan Shabaan, will be pursuing their Commercial Pilot Licence training and instrument and aircraft ratings at Airways Aviation in Australia.

Graduate Abdullah Al Quraini who plans to complete his pilot training in the United Kingdom said, ‘I found this course very helpful. I learned facts, techniques and terms about the aircraft which I didn’t know before. I would like to thank everyone I worked with for helping me to start to achieve my ambition of flying.’

At the graduation ceremony Airways Aviation Business Development Manager, Mr Yuseph Hawatt, told the students ‘I congratulate all of you on this big achievement. We see the great gains you have made in the course. To hear you talking about navigation and to see you flying a circuit on a simulator are fantastic achievements. We are proud of you, and you should be very proud of yourselves. We wish you the very best in your future training and look forward to hearing of your career success.’

The ceremony was conducted at the Airways Aviation headquarters, Dubai Knowledge Village.
