
Diamond Aircraft Appoints Airways Aviation Subsidiaries in France, Italy, and Finland as Official Authorised Training Centres
Diamond Aircraft and Airways Aviation Group are pleased to announce the signing of anew strategic agreement at the 2025 Paris Airshow, confirming the designation of Airways Aviation’s subsidiaries in France, Italy, and Finland as official Diamond Aircraft Authorised Training Centres.
This agreement represents a significant milestone in the long-standing partnership between the two aviation leaders, and further strengthens their joint commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and the delivery of world-class, sustainable pilot training solutions across Europe.
“Airways Aviation has demonstrated exceptional standards of safety, quality, and professionalism across its training facilities,” said Jane Wang, Sales Director at Diamond Aircraft Austria. “We are proud to expand our collaboration by formally recognising their academies in Montpellier, Forli, and Tampere as Diamond Authorised Training Centres. This partnership ensures student pilots receive their training on modern, environmentally conscious aircraft operated and maintained to the highest standards.”
As Diamond Authorised Training Centres, the selected Airways Aviation locations will benefit from enhanced access to Diamond’s latest aircraft, technical support, and operational resources, while also supporting Diamond’s mission to promote best practices in training delivery using its advanced fleet of composite aircraft, including the DA40 NG, DA42, and the all-electric eDA40.

This appointment follows Airways Aviation’s recent Letter of Intent to acquire fiveeDA40 aircraft, underscoring the group’s strategic investment innext-generation, environmentally conscious training assets.
