Airways Aviation is thrilled to introduce its unique program “Take off into Aviation”. This exceptional program provides graduates with two valuable qualifications that will enable students to launch a career in to the exciting and fast-paced world of aviation.

 

CTH Level 2 Award in VA Earth

An introductory course designed to develop the global geographic skills of new entrants to the industry.
Endorsed by Virgin Atlantic Airways and the GTMC (Guild of Travel Management Companies), this certification will show potential employers your global knowledge in the Aviation, Tourism and Hospitality industry and set you apart as a standout candidate for a career in Aviation.

AVI30319 Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service)

This nationally accredited course will help to develop the technical skills and knowledge required to be a member of an airline ground crew or an aircraft baggage handler in addition to valuable customer service and communication skills, all helping to significantly enhance employability prospects. Students will be able to pursue an entry point career path in ground operations and service at airports, charter companies and travel and tourism operations. Take off into Aviation and pave the way for a fulfilling future in the dynamic and rewarding world of aviation!

Study Pathway

If you are interested in a career in Aviation, our Take off into Aviation program is the perfect first step in taking you forward in to careers such as ground crew, service operator, aviation management and commercial pilot.

If becoming a pilot if something you are striving to achieve in the future, you have the option to add a 1 hour Instructional flight to the Takeoff Into Aviation program. The time accumulated during this instructional flight can be logged and will count towards the total hours required for aPilot licence. If you decide to go ahead and enrol with us on a Pilot Training course, we will credit you back the full amount of your instructional flight.

Entry Requirements

  • Australian resident, available for part-time study; and
  • Attending Year 10 on an approved schools program; or minimum 15 years of age
